Dalam kelas Islamic Literature aku ada belajar pasal kata-kata hikmah Saidina Ali. Lecturer masa tu suruh hafal sepuluh untuk midterm exam. Tapi untuk tatapan semua aku senaraikan beberapa kata-kata yang aku sangat suka:

" He who praises you murders you"

" Silence is the best reply to a fool"

" The best speech is one that is short and reasonable"

" Sorrow makes a man old before his time"

" A stranger is he who has no friends"

" Forgiveness is the crown of greatness"

" Opportunity is swift of flight but slow to return"

" The disease of heart is worse than the disease of the body"

"The word of God is the medicine of the heart"

" It is better to die than to beg"

" Truth is  bitter, but its result is sweet; falsehood appears to be sweet but it is poisonous in its effect"
